Chief Nutrition Grass-fed Collagen Protein Powder - Dark Chocolate
Australian Grass-fed Hydrolysed Bovine Collagen Peptides Type I and III with an average molecular weight <1kDa (highly bioavailable). This is a deliciously rich dark chocolate flavour combining the antioxidants of raw cacao with the subtle sweetness of monk fruit. Great on its own, as a hot chocolate, or in your smoothie or coffee!
Collagen peptides are a completely hydrolysed form of collagen protein, which means the amino acid strands of the protein are broken into individual collagen peptides making them easy to digest and highly bioavailable. Studies have shown more than 90% of collagen peptides are digested and available in the bloodstream within one hour.
You need to be careful with where your collagen comes from. Most collagen powder comes from overseas and some have tested positive for traces of heavy metal contamination. While some brands use Australian bovine sources, they ship raw ingredients to the US to be hydrolysed then ship it all the way back to Australia. Our collagen is 100% Australian grown, hydrolysed and made. Home grown quality you can trust.

For best results, consume 1 serve (15g) per day. To save on plastic we don’t use a scoop so simply mix 2 heaped tablespoons in 300ml of water and mix with a spoon, shaker or blender.
Please note: This guidance is based upon a 15ml tablespoon which is the international standard. Most tablespoons in your kitchen drawer will be 10ml to 15ml. In Australia, a standard measuring spoon for tablespoon is 20ml, so please use 2 flat tablespoons if you’re using a 20ml spoon. Note that 15ml is not 15g of powder and 20ml is not 20g of powder, weight depends on the density of what’s being measured. For more information see our FAQ.
Collagen peptides can survive temperatures as high as 300°C, making collagen one of the few protein powders that may be used in hot drinks, cooking and baking.
