Organic Castor Oil Packs
Castor oil has a history of usage in nearly every culture of the ancient world- India, China, Persia, Egypt, Africa. Greece, Rome, the Americas and in 17th Century Europe.
Castor oil's traditional applications are varied including for skin, hair and nail care.
Nature's Shield offers two new castor oil packs finely crafted from GOTS certified organic cotton.
Waist packs
These are used for skin care, over the liver, gallbladder and uterine area .
The waist pack may also be used on the chest and over the breasts .
Neck Packs:
Neck packs are used for various applications around the neck muscles.
The neck pack may also be adapted for use on other joints such as the wrist, hand, elbow, knee, ankle and foot.
Precautions:
Do a spot test and wait 24 hours to check the result. It is advised not to do castor oil packs during pregnancy or the menstrual period.
INSTRUCTIONS
WAIST WRAP:
Apply oil to the white lining side of the pack and wrap it around your body.
Use the elastic straps to wrap around the area to be treated and secure in place using the button & loop closure at the back of the pack.
Adjust the straps to create an optimal length for your body size. Leave it on for 45 minutes to 1 hour and allow the castor oil to nourish your body.
Remove the pack and wipe the area clean with a warm damp towel.
Option to place the heat pack (not included) into the front soft pouch.
NECK WRAP:
Apply oil to the white lining of the neck wrap and customise the fit using the provided velcro for added comfort.
Keep it on for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove and clean the area with a warm, damp towel.
